Tips and answers to common questions
GigSky’s main corporate phone number is +1 (650) 353-3323, and its toll-free helpline for US customers is 1-888-232-3118. For direct technical support, account billing, or refund claims, you can email customer service directly at help@gigsky.com. Be sure to include your order confirmation number, smartphone model, and account email for faster processing.
To submit a refund request, open the GigSky mobile app, navigate to Transaction History, select your purchase, and tap Request Refund. If the app fails to process your request automatically, email your receipt and screenshots of your connectivity errors to help@gigsky.com. If customer service fails to respond or wrongfully rejects your request, file an official complaint on raiseacomplaint.com to demand a review.
Standard prepaid travel data passes (such as 1GB, 3GB, or 5GB regional plans) do not auto-renew; they naturally expire when the data cap or validity period ends. However, recurring monthly subscription services (such as GigSky One) renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you manually turn off auto-renewal inside the app under My Plans > Subscription Settings.
First, open your phone's cellular settings, select the GigSky eSIM line, and verify that Data Roaming is toggled ON. Next, confirm that the GigSky line is assigned as your primary line for Cellular Data, toggle Airplane Mode on and off, or restart your mobile device. If you still cannot get internet access, submit an urgent email ticket to help@gigsky.com.
No. GigSky provides data-only cellular connections. It does not provide a traditional telephone number for standard cellular voice calls or SMS text messages. To place voice calls or send messages while traveling, you must use internet-based platforms such as WhatsApp, Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, or Telegram over your active GigSky data connection.
No. Standard eSIM profiles are electronically locked to a single mobile device once scanned and activated. If you upgrade your smartphone, switch devices, or restore your phone to factory settings, you cannot reuse the original QR code. You must reach out to help@gigsky.com or use the in-app transfer tool to request customer care to re-issue a fresh eSIM profile.
