I had a very disappointing experience using OfferUp. While the platform appears to be a convenient marketplace for buying and selling locally, my experience was frustrating from start to finish. Communication with buyers and sellers was unreliable, with many messages going unanswered or conversations ending abruptly. I also came across listings that seemed outdated or misleading, making it difficult to know what was actually available. The search filters didn't always return relevant results, and I encountered several suspicious accounts that reduced my confidence in the platform. Although OfferUp has the potential to be useful, I found the overall experience inconsistent and time-consuming. I hope the platform improves its moderation, customer support, and listing accuracy to provide a safer and more reliable marketplace for users.
